Apple has released a new version of Rectangle Pro, bringing several exciting features and improvements to the table. One of the most notable additions is Freeform, an innovative app that lets users brainstorm and bring their ideas to life in a unique way.

The update also addresses some significant issues, such as Siri's inability to understand requests in CarPlay properly, and resolves problems with music requests not being responded to correctly. Additionally, the Home Lock Screen widget now accurately displays the Home app status, eliminating any confusion that may have arisen from this issue.

Furthermore, the update fixes an issue where horizontal lines would temporarily appear when waking up an iPhone 14 Pro Max, and resolves a problem where the wallpaper might appear black on the Lock Screen. In Freeform, some drawing strokes created with Apple Pencil or fingers may not have appeared on shared boards; this issue is now resolved.

For added security, the update introduces Emergency SOS calls that require holding the side button along with the up or down volume button and then releasing to prevent accidental emergency calls. This feature helps ensure that users are more in control of their iPhone's functionality.

In terms of accessibility features, Apple has included a new Unity wallpaper to honor Black history and culture during Black History Month in the US. Other notable enhancements include Crash Detection optimizations on iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models, addressing issues with Matter-compatible thermostats that could become unresponsive when paired to Apple Home. The update also fixes problems where Ask to Buy requests from children might fail to appear on the parent's device.

In terms of new features, Visual Look Up is now available in South Africa, and users can expect improved accessibility settings that automatically dim video when flashes of light or strobe effects are detected. VoiceOver support has been added for maps in the Weather app, making navigation easier than ever.

The update also includes several other enhancements and bug fixes, such as Duplicates album in Photos expanding its support to detect duplicate photos and videos in an iCloud Shared Photo Library. Voice Isolation for mobile calls prioritizes user voice and blocks out ambient noise around them. Notifications for web apps have been added to the Home Screen, making it easier for users to stay connected.
